Outlook navigation bar change

The navigation bar has now changed in outlook from the bottom to the top. I'm not sure if there are people that don't have that much going on in their work life that this is an exciting change. But for most, if not all, power-users this is just a nuisance. Things become instinctual if you work a lot in emails and other O365 apps and constantly changing things around is just disruptive and adds even more stress to the day.

There must be an option to leave things as they are for O365. Some people don't need to be constantly entertained and have updates. Outlook and O365 apps are tools and they just need to work. People that work with these a lot already know how to modify the UI to suit their needs perfectly. Stop trying to make it look great and make it function properly.

So, what is the quick an easy way to change the navigation panel back to the bottom?

    Hi @BGS ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Are you referring to the following image, where the navigation bar is displayed on the right instead of the original bottom?

If so, please unselect the "Show Apps in Outlook" option via File>Options>Advanced>Outlook panes and then restart Outlook:

    Hope to help you!
