How to troubleshoot application errors with Event ID 1000 caused by FlightSimulator.exe

Lately, I keep getting crash to desktop errors when running Microsoft Flight Simulator. I always see the same error when looking in the Application log in Event Viewer.

I realize this forum is primarily for Windows itself rather than other applications such as MS Flight Simulator but the question I like to ask in here isn't really about MSFS but more how and if it's possible to get more information out of these kind of error messages found in the Application log in Event Viewer?

Since the error message always is the exact same but with no clues what is actually triggering MSFS to constantly crash but with random intervals, it would be very useful if there was some way to get some more specific information what is actually causing these crashes. Seeing in the log how the crash was caused by flightsimulator.exe doesn't really help. Hard to avoid realizing that when you're playing one second and next thing, you find yourself on the Windows desktop...

What I would like to know is if there's some way to isolate the actual cause, maybe it's the Nvidia graphics drivers, drivers for the audio card etc etc.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions or help. This issue is really starting to drive me nuts!

This is the error message I keep getting in the Application log after each CTD:

0xc0000005 indicates native access violation (a tough kind of issues), so not easy to troubleshoot the cause yourself.
