I have Renewed my Azure Solution Architect Expert recently, do I need to clear AZ 305 separately?

I have cleared below exams:

Microsoft Azure Architect Design – AZ 304 – March 18, 2021

Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies – AZ 303 - Feb 6, 2021

 Earned Azure Solution Architect Expert certification on March 18 2021(Certification Number I567-9742)

 

On 12 Jan 23, I have cleared renew exam and extended my certification for next 1 year

Azure Solution Architect expert -Valid till Mar 19, 2024 Certification Nu- I567-9742

Please Refer attached PDF for Certification.

Do I still need to Clear AZ 305 Separately, to earn Azure Solution Architect expert certification (which we get after clearing AZ 305)?

Hi, thanks for your question at Q&A. If you renewed your Azure Solution Architect expert certification through the renewal system there is no need to take the AZ-305 exam.

Renewal tests on Microsoft Learn are updated as Azure evolves so the renewal test makes sure you are up to date with the current state of technology and practices. This is supported by suggested Learning Modules from Microsoft to bring you up to speeds with new things since your last exam or renewal.

I checked the requirements for partners on the partner website and all requirements state the expert level Azure Solution Architect certification and not the specific AZ-305 exam. This means that your current certification counts towards the partnership requirements.
