Hi Matthew DePasquale ,
Have you had the same issue in Edge? I tried to reproduce this issue in Chrome, Chrome Dev, Edge and Edge Canary, but they worked well and used Google as the search engine all the time. Also, I've found some posts talking about being redirected to Bing, but they seemed to have something to do with hijackers. Therefore, I have some suggestions for you:
- Remove Bing search engine from your Chrome. In Chrome, go to
chrome://settings/searchEngines
--> Search engines --> Bing --> More actions --> Delete. And make sure you have set Google as default search engine. - Check any suspicious third-party application or Chrome extension that may cause this issue. You can perform a health check if necessary.
