ok i open chrome, well actually i use chrome dev. I type search quiery in the omnibox. The first set of results are fine, googles search results. i go to the next page of results or try a different query in the omni box and all of a sudden i'm on bing and their search resluts. I do not like being redirected to bing . I don't like bing and the results it provides. Why is there a major issue with this redrect all across the google community, something easilt found with many releveant results how is it the MS doesn't know about the issue, or have a solution to the problem or even admitted to its existence??? I might use more microsoft products if it werent for exaclty this type of behavior. That and the fact it took me over twenty mintues and reading MANY pages to find no answer aand then end up here.

    Hi Matthew DePasquale ,

Have you had the same issue in Edge? I tried to reproduce this issue in Chrome, Chrome Dev, Edge and Edge Canary, but they worked well and used Google as the search engine all the time. Also, I've found some posts talking about being redirected to Bing, but they seemed to have something to do with hijackers. Therefore, I have some suggestions for you:

    1. Remove Bing search engine from your Chrome. In Chrome, go to chrome://settings/searchEngines --> Search engines --> Bing --> More actions --> Delete. And make sure you have set Google as default search engine.
    2. Check any suspicious third-party application or Chrome extension that may cause this issue. You can perform a health check if necessary.
