Hello all,

I am getting some strange behavior on different machines. On one machine when I search the files in File Explorer using properties, the results are getting filtered and displayed on the fly (as soon as I start typing the property value), while on other machine, I have to write the property and its value and need to hit enter command to get the results.

I need to understand whether this is any configuration issue or Microsoft has stopped this functionality.

Images are attached for better understanding.

Fly1 and Fly 2 are working cases while Fly3 is of non-working case.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

This situation may be caused by the difference between the devices' operation system versions.

For example, in my test Server 2019 would getting filtered and displayed when typing the property value. Windows 10 will not until you press "enter".

    Hope the information is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know. I appreciate your time and efforts.
