Restrict a User/Dial plan to just be able to dial 1 number...

Hi all,

The Genius that is the hive mind i hope can help on this.

We have a Phone in a place accessible to the public and we would like to grant it the ability to dial only one DDI, its an external number, its been granted a Voice route and can currently dial out to any UK number. However we have quickly discovered, rather obviously, that people will/are abuse this.

Is there a way to lock this Phone\User profile to only being able to dial 1 number? I was thinking maybe a Dial Plan that can "catch all/any" dialled number and translate it to the said DDI we want them to call. We have already established that this phone sadly does not support "Auto Dial on Off Hook".

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @The Garrison,

To me currently there is no feature to restrict calling only to a specific number.

There has been an active Teams Uservoice about this: Outbound calls restriction to specific numbers

    Hi @The Garrison

Doing it via Dial plan would be your best best. My recommendation would be to create a new Dial plan just for use on this phone. Rule might look something like:
