Dirty shutdown of guest on squeaky clean 2022 Standard Hyper-V install
Hi, got a newly installed (reinstalled to be sure, source "en-us_windows_server_2022_updated_dec_2022_x64_dvd_14fe3ddc.iso" ) Server 2022 which don't shutdown guest cleanly. I'm out of ideas and need some troubleshooting assistance here.
Rebooting the host kills of the guest, pulling the plug on them . Very much like the problem I've found for Server 2019 initially.
I run 3 freeBSd, 2 linux and 2 windows guests. All encounters the plug pull and comes up with dirty disks.
Eventlog doesn't mention anything when doing a reboot of the host. Only way to check is through the guest OSs which reports the plug-pull.
I've solved it with some powershell and GPO startup/shutdown scripts right now, but that is just for making it work for now.
