Is it possible to store this in a single column using ADF ?

that article talks about multi-line row property in data flows however we are using copy data
Can you execute the copy activity, it should load the multiline data, I tried and it worked, what is the sink in your case?

My understanding is you can use the "Multiline rows" property in the source options tab to specify the source file contains rows that span multiple lines. The multiline values must be in quotes.
You can also create a new column with the source file name and path by using the "Column to store file name" property in the source options tab
