Why is "Row Level Security" grayed out?

User's image

Where can I find official documentation about this? (if not official, is there a book?)

Is there any difference in putting the DAX code in the RLS in either the fact or the dimension? whats best practice?

    Hi @ovonemty

I'm sorry, but there isn't much official documentation about SSAS, and even less about Row Level Security.

I have encountered a case before, the client also had a problem in Row Level Security, he himself solved the Row Level Security gray out problem, you can refer to it. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1148855/changing-cardinality-in-rls-makes-rls-only-work-if

In addition, you can also refer to the content of these two links.
