Hi All,

I got issues on SCCM processing hardware inventory MIF files keeps on filling up even after clearing the disk storage.

Any encounter this before?

    The question is why is it filling up? e.g. what do the log say is happening? Have you increase the max mif size to 50 MB? https://www.recastsoftware.com/resources/change-the-maximum-file-size-of-a-mif/

    1, Could you please let us know how you confirm that the hardware inventory MIF files keeps on filling up? Have you ever done anything to cause it to fill up? Have you checked the relevant logs or anything else? Could you please upload it for our reference so that we can help you better?

    To monitor processes regarding hardware inventory, we can check the following logs:

    • Client: InventoryAgent.log
    • Management Point: MP_Hinv.log
    • Site Server: Dataldr.log
