MS Project one day tasks finishing on second day

I have a project set up where the default start time is 9am, default end time is 5pm, hours per day 8.

Duration is entered in days, default task type is fixed duration.

Tasks 2 and 3 have a duration of 0 which is working fine.

Task 4 has a duration of 1 day and starts at 9am 23/01; however, instead of finishing at 5pm 23/01, it is finishing at 9am 24/01.

This is a recurring problem throughout my entire project and I just don't understand why and thus do not know how to fix this.

It's confusing for everyone when one day tasks are being displayed across two days because for other stakeholders, start and finish is only ever communicated as the day, not including hours/mins (I only changed the display to this to try and figure out what was going wrong).

Please help!
