How can I stop Microsoft from charging for deleted resources

How can I get some actual action from azure support?
I’ve been charged for a deleted resource since 23rd December and support has done nothing to resolve this other than to pass my support request around other teams.
They will quite happily just charge my credit card for non-provided services and it appears that there is nothing I can do about it.
I am so sick of this dreadful level of support.
