Hello,
I have a File Server in DELL PowerEdge R730 with the host OS of Windows Server 2012 R2 and a list of Six Volumes with the size of 3TB.
I have scheduled a daily backup in windows server backup on 28th of July 2021 and take the incremental option for all Six Volumes, but unfortunately on 15th of January 2023 I have been shocked by deleted my all backup copies and only left 5 backup left from 10th of January till now.
No one touched the server but my all backup copies which were around one hundred all of them deleted by the windows server backup which only 5 days backup is there others are disappeared.
I am using 16TB NAS cloud for my backup which before 10th of January I checked 37% of my total storage were free means my backup storage were not full and had around 3 to 4 TB free space Now its showing 70% free space in my backup storage.
Would any one please tell me what happened to my backups and why they are disappeared.
