How to add more than 3 columns on a SharePoint homepage

I'm currently building a SharePoint page for my team, but I can't seem to add more than 3 columns to my homepage (for context I'd need 9). Does anyone know a way around this?

Yes, you can add a nine-column table in SP13, the difference is not in the version of sharepoint, but whether the page is a classic experience or a modern experience. If you can accept it, you can create a classic experience page implementation in any version and add a nine-column table to display nine images side by side.

Hi @Jefferies, Jemima ,

As of now SharePoint Online only supports maximum three columns section on modern pages.You can use the vertical section in SharePoint Online to increase the number of pages to a maximum of four columns section. Thank you for your understanding and support.
