Mouse pointer settings change when User Account Control mask appears

Hello,
I have a vision problem so I usually set mouse pointer on a black arrow, because it's easier for me to see.
Sometimes, when I install something for example, the UAC mask appears to ask if I want to allow system changes, so after clicked "yes" or "no" the pointer turns back into the default one and I have to set it again.
Is there a fix for this problem?

Russ Mathison 0 Reputation points2024-08-01T17:53:51.83+00:00 I have suffered the same issue for years without a real resolution. I just suffer by keeping the mouse properties window open all the time and changing the mouse settings back any time the UAC window pops up.
