Regarding Purview user session timeout and multi session

Hi,

May I know what is the Purview governance portal user session timeout value and how to configure it.
Also is it possible to restrict multiple sessions by a single user to Purview portal?

I believe it is same as the Azure portal. Click the corner "gear" settings icon on portal.azure.com and you will reach this page as below.

If this doesn't change the session timeout for Purview studio, please contact support and they will contact product group of purview or engineering team.

Hi

In Purview when I click the gear icon, I only see option to select language. Do I need to be having specific role to see config option

Hello @Amit Singh,

As per the above answer, the settings will be available in the Azure Portal(https://portal.azure.com/) and not in the Purview portal(https://web.purview.azure.com/).
