Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to disable the new spelling check feature that got added last night, I tried finding a setting for it but it seems like the setting doesn't exist, and the warning does not even have its own warning code so I can't simply suppress the issue.
This is what happens when you are trying to create a README.md in another language, and it's really painful to look at.
if you could help me with this problem I would appreciate it a lot since I have been struggling with it for a few hours now.
Same here. Started this morning (January 18th, 2023). No warnings yesterday. Visual Studio is running the same version and has not been updated since yesterday. I can't find a way to disable it anywhere, and since the warnings don't have a Code, I can't disable it in the csproj, props or targets file.
Isn't it enough that the programing languages are all in English, now the classes, methods, properties and comments have to be in English as well!?

I started getting this error as well. I hope it will be resolved as soon as possible.

An annoying feature and poorly thought out assumption by the MSFT Visual Studio team.

17.5 Preview 3.0 released. and problem solved.
It is fully absurd "feature". I have to disable it all the time.
This issue started all of a sudden today please fix this issue. very frustrating

Which version of Visual Studio are you using?
It has been fixed in Visual Studio 2022 version 17.5 Preview 3.
You can disable it by unchecking “Text spell checker" option: Tools > Options > Environment > Preview Features.
