Hi,

I wish to implement Azure Arc On-Premise Servers onboarding for my customers who are located in Switzerland.

Unfortunately "the fully working solution" is only available for West Europe and not for Switzerland

As customer data must stay in Switzerland, could you please tell me what kind of data is collected when the On- Premise Servers are onboarded per script with Western Europe Region?

TY in advance for the feedback.

BR,

Gregory

Refer the below documentation about the Azure Arc-enabled servers.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-arc/servers/overview#data-residency

So basically, the data at rest is stored within the Azure region you choose.

For each connected machine, the following meta data will be collected.

    • Operating system name and version
    • Computer name
    • Computer fully qualified domain name (FQDN)
    • Connected Machine agent version

    Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-arc/servers/overview#supported-regions

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

TY very much for the answer.

    Awesome News.

By any chance do you know if Azure Arc with full features will be available in Switzerland in a near future or is not planned due to the size of the country?

No hurry for the answer, you have already helped me out.

    BR
