Beginning last week, my word document excel object stopped opening in the microsoft word program. Instead, it opens up the excel workbook. The problem with this, I have lost the ability to resize to the inputted rows in word. This is a shared word document here at work. I am the only user this is happening to, so it must be a setting in my word document

Did you recently add a second monitor? If so, is that monitor set to a different resolution that your main screen? Those conditions will cause the symptoms you mentioned.

    Hi @Matthews, Trish

Please refer to John Korchok's suggestions.

Besides, can you show us with the screenshots that Excel object opened in Word on other users' computer and the interface on yours?

On my PC with Microsoft 365 Apps, if I open the Excel file object inserted in Word document, it would starts Excel and open the Excel workbook.
