Hi @Tanya Hsu
Yes, it is possible to add holiday or personal vacation days to a channel calendar in MS Teams. One way to do this is by using the Outlook Calendar integration feature in Teams
Here are the general steps you would need to follow:
- Create a new Outlook calendar for your channel group, and share it with all members of the group.
- In the Teams channel for your group, click the Calendar tab.
- Click the "Add calendar" button and select the Outlook calendar you just created.
- Once the calendar is added, members of the group will be able to add events to it, such as vacation days or holidays.
- To restrict the calendar to only showing vacation and holidays you can use the categories feature of Outlook events, where you can create two different categories "Vacation" and "Holiday" and ask everyone to use these categories when creating events.
- To make sure everyone has the permission to add events you can share the calendar with edit permissions.
It's worth noting that this method relies on all team members having access to Outlook and using it to create events, also you can use Teams calendar App to create events and assign the proper category.
