I am trying to convert a physical machine to an Azure VM using StarWinds P2V and this guide. I've tried to register an app and subscribe it as outlined here, but there's no select field to enter the application name. Also, if I try to skip the step, the StarWinds app tells me that the client secret is expired, even if I delete it and create a new one.

    Hi

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Have you checked if the client secret is still valid? from your azure portal pane? the app is trying to match the client secret you have provided with that of your azure and finds it expired. I think the app has no role here to manipulate the secret code, its worth for you to check the entered details are clear and there are no mistakes.

The client secret should expire in 6 months, not 6 seconds. StarWinds support suggested that there was an issue with the account itself, so that might be it.
