Hi

I'm reasearching Microsoft spatial audio (Windows, XBox series X).

When I search for "How to enable Microsoft spatial sound", I always get methods with UI.

Can I do this or get spatial audio format list with code?

if possible, can you provide some sample code or api? (Especially c++)

(summary)

Can I do this with code?

  • Enable/Disable spatial audio
  • Get list of spatial audio formats(windows sonic, DTS soud, Dolby Atmos)
  • (Advanced) Get/Set current spatial audio format

Thank you.

    Hello @Huijae ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

I searched for relevant content in the official documentation and the Registry, and it seems that this function is not supported yet.

I'd suggest you submit a feature request about this feature in the Feedback Hub.

You could find the Feedback Hub in the Start Menu.

Please select Developer Platform->API Feedback as the category when you submit your request.

The related team will check the request.

    Thank you.
