I am not able to create app-password for Azure bot ( multi tenant ), Despite of being owner of application and bot

When I try to click on manage password from Azure Bot Configuration, I am getting Insufficient privilege issue.

@KTern.AI Engineers Thanks for the question. We are able to see the Manage Password section as shown below. you will need to ensure that your account has the correct permissions. This can typically be done by asking an administrator to grant you the necessary permissions or by logging in to Azure with an account that has the correct permissions.

Hi @Ramr-msft Thanks for you response, I am Administrator for this Azure AD, still when I am trying to get client secret for Azure bot it is showing no permission to me.

Can you help from where can I remove this issue.

you can try the following steps:

To create an app password for Azure bot, you need to follow the below steps:

Sign in to the Azure portal with your Azure AD administrator account.

Select Azure Active Directory from the left menu, and then select App registrations.

Select the bot that you want to create an app password for.

Select Certificates & secrets from the left menu.

Select New client secret.

Enter a description for the app password, and then select a duration for the app password.

Select Add.

Copy the app password and save it in a secure location. You won't be able to retrieve the app password after you leave this page.

Use the app password to authenticate the bot in your application.

Note: You need to be the owner of the application and bot to create an app password. If you are not able to create an app password, please check if you have the required permissions.

Hello @Ramr-msft I'm in the same situation. I am the owner of my Azure bot resource, but when I go to the configuration and click 'manage password' I'm met with the insufficient privileges response. I have an Azure subscription. This was not a problem in the past and my subscription has not changed recently.
