Hi Expert how to change datatype in pivot table in excel sheets . from text to numbers
currently value is in text as it is in column section

1 23
Your question is very vague.
If you mean the number format of a measure, click on the small black arrow => last option => Number format
Not in Format datatype change in pivot table so that i can do a sum
i.e. currently Value column data type shows text if i can do it datatype sum then atleast i can manually sum it
instead of count it should show sim in bottom
error pivot table cannot be updates with differ layout

I creates a sample, and as you said put number values in Column Field.
I suggest you select these cells, right click them > Field Settings > Number format > Choose "Number" format.

Yes datatype is double but unable change to sum it only can count it
