Hi,

We are leveraging Teams but we do not want certain set of users to be not able to upload/add any files to Team/channels. We have turned off their file native entry point via grant-csteamsfilepolicy. But that still allows them to "open in sharepoint" to add files. Is there a way that "Open in sharepoint" can be removed from Teams completely. It is difficult to know the URL instead of clicking the option.

    Hi @GoodResource

    Currently this is not possible.

There has been an active Teams uservoice thread asking for this feature: Include Hide "Open in Sharepoint" option in files menu

Please consider upvoting or leaving a comment to submit your feedback to Microsoft.

    Thanks for your understanding.
