Intermittent ODBC Socket Closed Error with Linked Service

Hello!

In the last 3 weeks there have been 3 instances of the below failure. It has happened intermittently before this but these last 3 have been the closest together. This happens when our ADF pipelines kick off overnight, I log in in the morning and see them, and then have previously always been able to just re-run from failed activity but this morning that is not the case. I have been researching all morning and am struggling to find any reason for this? The other times this has happened they have always resolved itself but I'm concerned this time might not be the case. I am very new to all of this and very much learning as I go so any guidance or help on what may be causing this, if there is anything I can do would be much appreciated!

    Hi @Bhargava-MSFT , sorry for my delay reply!! I shared this information with your team and then our connection resumed around 10:40 am yesterday and so far it's still connected successfully. I double checked the SHIR version and that hasn't been changed at all so at this time I don't have any further insight as to why this just started working again or why it stopped in the first place so we are just keeping an eye on it going forward you.     Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.

    Can you please confirm if you are using the on-prem data source?

    If yes, I guess it could be related to your SHIR version. Can you please check if there are any recent updates on the SHIR version?

    And please let us know your SHIR version.
