I cannot Mute team members in my Teams channel.

Hello!

I am tech support for some elementary schools and my teachers are having an issue with Microsoft Teams. They are trying to mute members (students) on a specific channel but the Mute options are not showing up next to their names in the team list. I have tried both the web and desktop apps.

From the information it seems you are using Teams for Education.
