Manage multiple Win11 desktops.

Question

How do you establish multiple desktops in WIN11 that permit separate shortcuts /Apps etc. on each Desktop? I have created a 2nd desktop, but it seems to be an exact clone of my original desktop. If I delete a desktop ICON on one desktop it also gets deleted from the other. I want to be able to develop separate desktops that will serve as an operating environment for a separate particular purpose.

Multipe desktop is use to manage differents windows but you can't custimize your taskbar.

You can try the VM to have multiple desktops within the same device. Hyper-V is not supported in Windows 10 Home Edition, and will not be supported in Windows 11 Home Edition.

On Windows 11, Hyper-V allows you to create and manage virtual machines to run other instances of Windows 11 and older versions of the operating system, such as Windows 10, 8.1, or 7, or other platforms like Linux alongside the main installation.

All the official Microsoft documentation/Info they publish on the new enhanced Windows 11 desktop tool states the ability of grouping collections in each desktop that can support separate endeavors. If all the defined desktops are only clones of the original one, this estimation of the functionality of multiple desktops is very misleading to the point of being false
