How to fully migrate Outlook to another PC - NOT just move emails.

This used to be quite easy. I would copy the outlook folder on one PC... install Outlook on another PC, find where the Outlook folder was created... then dump everything I copied from the first computer into this folder. Voila!

This is not not possible. I have tried exporting to a .pst, but this seems to not export anything but mail records. I need the entire outlook structure to copy with it. The accounts need to be maintained.

I'm ok if I have to enter the usual credentials and server settings again again, but I need all the other data maintained, as-if the person was on the same computer. I want all of the contacts, calendars, and type-in assistance that was on the previous.

I would even pay for a tool. The only one I found looked somewhat legit, but when I installed it, the GUI was all wonky. I'm on WIn 11, and perhaps it wasnt compatible. Though, that would seem unlikely.

ALso, the mail accounts used are IMAP and POP3. Not MS Exchange.

    Hi @Rod Martin,

ALso, the mail accounts used are IMAP and POP3. Not MS Exchange.

As per IMAP, it works by reading email data from email service rather than downloading them to local machine, so you don't need to worry about the email data stored in the email service, but only need to export Outlook items in the "This computer only" folders to use them on the new computer.

For POP3, you'll need to move the PST files to the new computer.

Below is an article with detailed instructions about how to move an email account(IMAP or POP) to a new computer. Hopefully you can find it helpful:
