UPDATE Out of curiosity I tried to install Win 11 again using the same method and it worked without problem apart from the screen flicker. I then tried to install win 10 from within win 11 and it did exactly the same again ie went through the whole install process only to return to the select keyboard screen. Hi, trying to reinstall win10 after win11 gave a flickering screen because of an incompatible Intel graphics driver. It's a HP Fs q series laptop 2019.Ive tried using HP's own recovery and a USB created with Microsoft media creation tool but whatever method I use gets the same result of a infinite installation loop. All goes well until the last step at the services screen when it then returns to the enter keyboard screen and then if I do go through the process again and try using the same username it asks me to choose a different one which . If I do carry on with a different name the same thing happens and I get all the way to completing the services install again only to be returned to choose keyboard ad infinitum. I've tried a brand new ssd which made no difference. Any idea what's going on? Thanks John.
