I want to get an AZ-900 exam certification and i have a discount but it won't let me apply it

Basically, I am a student looking to sit the AZ-900 exam online I have the discount to sit the exam for free I have my code but it won't let me apply the code so please help me, I have my Microsoft account and I have linked my student email with it and then also verified that I am a student I got the pop up saying that I am verified as a student but when I go to check if there are any discounts for my account it says there aren't any discounts for me to add then I assume if it says there are any discounts for me to add then it will allow me to add the code but I can't even add the code to make it work.
