RDP is not working on windows 11 home

Hi All,

I cannot login to company RDP on windows 11 home

I go to start, then Remote desktop connection, then connect, however it keeps loading and I cannot connect.

Although, I have a different laptop with windows 10 and it works just fine!

Can you help me please?

    Hi Bishoy,

    Have you checked the firewall settings on the Windows 11 machine? Maybe RDP is blocked and you will need to open the port. Also, ensure the "Allow remote connections to this computer is set up. Let me know how that goes. Thanks!

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to RDP not connecting.

    First of please reboot both Computers and check if the issue resolved automatically.

    1. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
    2. Make sure user has permission to login to RDP of this computer.
    3. Try to take RDP using Full computer name or using ip address of this computer.
    4. Please verify Date and time should correct on both computers.
