Hello All,

Requesting information regarding SSMA.

We are migrating our existing DB2 to Azure SQL. With regard to this we are trying to understand SSMA application which helps us in migration.

We referred various documentation with regard to this.

We want to understand if there are any feature specific to SSMA for Oracle. ? which is not present in DB2. We want to check this to confirm we are using the SSMA for DB2 with correct version.

We noticed SSMA for Oracle has many other feature like Tester (helps in Create test cases, Monitor the migration activities) which is missing in SSMA for DB2. Also The explicit FIX ADVISOR is also something missing in SSMA for DB2.
Do we get these features in SSMA for DB2?

We also did a complete installation for DB2 as well.

Any information to this regard will be of a great help.

feature specific to SSMA for Oracle. ? which is not present in DB2.

What's that for a question? Oracle and IBM DB2 are very different RDBMS and so SSMS will respect the differences and will work so a bit different.
