While importing terms into Purview's business glossary, I would like to import a term whose definition is a sentence that includes commas and other characters. But, once the template provided by Purview is in.csv format, I'm having some trouble accomplishing this task. Is there a way you can do this? Maybe through a quoted .csv file?

I believe that parsing issues may be related to the structure of the file itself, instead of its content.
Anyway, in this case I'd recommend that you create a single Glossary Term manually in Purview and then Export it to your local machine, then rename the file and use its structure to replace the content to the one which you wanna use.
I made some more tests here and identified that by doing it, Purview added html/css commands like <div> </div> to divide the definition text (which was already with double quotes and working fine for me).

Just make sure you add your definition sentence between double quotes (like "your definition here"). I just tested here and it worked just fine.

Unfortunately, that didn't work for me. I believe that Purview is giving me some strange errors:
For example, I created a sample term with commas in the definition and then exported it in order to understand its structure. If I try to upload the file immediately it works just fine. However when I save the file, even without making a single change, I get an error saying that Purview isn't able to parse the file!
I think this is very strange and I can't figure out why this keeps happening.
What do you mean my reviewing my user permissions? Do you think that may be causing all these errors?

If you were able to import the file immediatly after exporting it, I assume there are no issue with your user's permissions.
Maybe the problem lies in the setup of your Excel/Office at the moment you're saving the file.
In the example I shared, I noticed that here the file was saved as CSV UTF-8 (delimited by comma). Try to check the file properties of the file you have exported and compare it after you make some changes and save it again to see if there's something different that your Office version is applying to the file when you save it.
I hope that might shine a light on what you real issue is.
I wish I could share it, but ".csv" files are not supported here.
