Is anyone familiar with the following issue? Upon attempting to access the Azure Synapse resource, I receive the following error when navigating to the resource overview page: " The extension encountered an unexpected error and provided no additional details ." I have tried performing self-diagnostics but they did not help. This issue has been ongoing since this morning. Is this a known issue? I thought it might be good to reach out here before approaching the service provider for support. Thanks in advance!

Hello @ Petrov, Dragomir & @ Husain Zaidi We have identified a root cause and rolled out a hotfix to mitigate the issue. Now I'm able to load Azure Synapse Workspace in West Europe region without any issue. For more information, please do checkout the service health page: Azure Synapse Analytics – West Europe Note: To view Service Health events, users must have the reader role on a subscription. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you please share the location of synapse workspace which you are trying?

Note: Currently, we had identified there is a known issue with Synapse workspace in West Europe region and we are working with internal team to fix this issue. And I will get back to you once the issue has been fixed.

Hi,

The issue disappeared when I logged in on the next day. I did not do anything in particular.

The same day the access got fixed towards later afternoon but there were still some issues.

The triggers were no longer visible as attached to the pipelines, however when I navigate to set a new trigger, the triggers are configured.

I managed to execute a manual run of a pipeline but I received an error with code 500.

It seems as well that the datalake linked to synapse is no longer visible even tho I can see it if connect to the serverless sql via SSMS. However, not able to navigate to the csv based external tables that are exported from Dataverse with the help of Synapse Link Export.

But to wrap it up, besides the troubleshooting and diagnostics that I did before I wrote this question I did nothing. MS managed to do a good work of fixing the issue in the West European region.
