If a monitor is connected to an iPad and it is operating in expand mode rather than mirror mode, then the Remote Desktop app cannot be displayed in full screen. Is there a solution for this?

    Hello Michael,

Unfortunately the Remote Desktop app for iOS will use the default screen resolution for the iPad screen into the expanded screen. This is a "by Design" issue.

My recommendation would be to open a Feature request through: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-365-feature-requests/idb-p/Windows365Requests in order to request that functionality in further releases.

To those of you that have been waiting for MS RD Client to have ‘full screen’ mode, as of the update on 1st Nov with iOS 17, it now works!!! Well done and thank you to the Microsoft team.
