Hi @Edmundas ,
Maybe some one knows how to import calendar/contacts with utf-8 encoding, to Outlook 365/2021?
I am afraid this is currently not yet supported in Outlook desktop clients.
As an alternative, I'd suggest importing the CSV file via Outlook on the Web supposing you are using Exchange account or it's a personal outlook.com account. Take importing contacts as an example, basic steps are as follows:
- Sign into your Outlook on the web or Outlook.com account.
- Click the People icon on the left:
- At the upper-right corner of the page, click Manage contacts > Import contacts.
- Click the Browse button, select your CSV file and click Open, click Import.
In case you are not using Exchange or outlook.com account, you may consider creating a new outlook.com account which is free, follow the steps above to import the contacts or calendars, then export these data to PST files, afterwards, import them into your Outlook desktop client from the PST files. Per my test, PST files can preserve non Latin characters properly.
With the above being said, I've also tried submitting this via the dedicated feedback portal for Outlook. I'll leave the link below so that others can vote on the idea as well. Hopefully this can be feasible in the future.
