Hello,

I've been backing up a couple of on-premise Windows 2022 file servers to Azure, it's been fine for a while until the weekend and they have stopped working.

Agent version - 2.0.9250.0

r/AZURE - MARS backup stopped working for on premise servers, might be latest version.

I've uninstalled our anti virus scanner, reinstalled the agent as well.

This all looks ok.

Just can't find a reason or any help.

There is so much in here I'm not sure what to look for and the event logs are useless. - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp

    Hello Andy,

    Hope you are doing well today!

    There could be multiple reasons for this failure and In order to check that Ensure the MARS agent is up to date. Also could you please help me with the Windows events from the time of the job failure. Also If you could check the status of VSS writers using command "vssadmin list writers" since it's a volume level backup.
