after adding my ip address in cosmos db , when i tried to debug from locally im getting error - Exception: ServiceRequestError: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain (_ssl.c:1129)

any idea

@Gurram, Munisekhar Could you provide more details? Are you attempting to establish a connection to CosmosDB via Azure Functions that's running locally?

Sorry for the late reply. This error can occur when the SSL certificate used by the Cosmos DB emulator is not trusted by your local machine. Usually, you can resolve this issue by importing the emulator TLS/SSL certificate into your local machine. Here are the steps to import the emulator TLS/SSL certificate into your local machine:

Export the certificate in PFX format. The PFX option is available when choosing to export the private key.

Copy that PFX file into your local machine.

Import the PFX file into your local machine's certificate store. After importing the certificate, you should be able to connect to the Cosmos DB emulator without any issues.
