Does Azure Backup support restoring MECM created on Azure VM?

Hi experts,

We are planing to configure MECM on Azure VM.

Although I found some configuration such as Domain Controller were supported, on Azure Backup documents below, I could not find how about MECM.

To make sure if it is okay, could you please let me know will Azure Backup work for MECM on Azure VM?

Hi,

Based on my understanding, Configuration Manager usually talk about backup site database or high availability.

• Back up a Configuration Manager site
• High availability options for Configuration Manager

If you want to backup CM in VM level, when the CM is installed all in one, we could backup like any other VM.

When the CM isn't installed all in one, we need to backup all CM infrastructure VM on the same time to avoid data out of sync.
