Cluster validation warning: Switch Embedded Teaming are not named consistently

Hello everybody,

After validating my cluster, I got the following warning:

"There are an equal number of SET switches on all nodes, but they are not named consistently. This may prevent VM migration."

It's quite strange because there are no differences between the two nodes on the configuration of the SET. Has anyone faced this kind of error before?

Thank you so much!

Andrea

    Hello there,

Have you made any recent updates ?

As of December 2022 some users have reported this issue, do a windows update on all your cluster nodes and the issue will be sorted. Microsoft seems to have fixed the issue on the subsequent update. Microsoft has not shared any bug id for this issue as of now.

Hope this resolves your Query !!

It is now July 2023 and the error still appears. No matter if I install the cluster via Powershell or the WAC.
