Hello good day.
Since yesterday I noticed that google chrome started to freeze. I was looking for something and didn't respond, but I didn't give it importance.
Today my pc was on and suddenly it turned off for no reason.
I saw that a memory dump was generated where the process appears
msmpeng.exe
and image_name: hardware_ram bsod.

has this happened to anyone?

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

A Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the error message "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" typically indicates a problem with the computer's memory (RAM). Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Run a memory diagnostic tool: Windows has a built-in memory diagnostic tool that can help identify any problems with your RAM. Restart your computer and press the appropriate key to enter the BIOS settings (usually F2 or Del) and look for the memory diagnostic option.
    2. Check for malware: Malware can cause a variety of problems on a computer, including BSODs. Run a full scan of your system with an up-to-date antivirus program.
    3. Check for outdated drivers: Outdated drivers can cause conflicts with the operating system and lead to BSODs. Make sure all of your drivers are up to date by visiting the website of the manufacturer of your computer or individual components.
    4. Check for overheating: Overheating can cause damage to the memory and lead to BSODs. Check the internal temperature of your computer and make sure it is within normal operating range.
    5. Check for hardware failure: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a hardware failure. You can run a hardware diagnostic tool or contact a professional to check the hardware of your computer.
    6. Check for the hardware compatibility with the version of the Windows you are using.
    7. Run the command "sfc /scannow" in command prompt with admin rights and check if it finds any errors and fixes it.
    8. Run the command "chkdsk /f /r" in command prompt with admin rights to check for any disk errors and fix them.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the BSOD with the "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT" error message and resolve the issue.
