xamarin android emulator android > 9 ? how to make ?

Hello all,

I have vs 2022 entreprise installed on my computer all works fine with emulator below android 9 ..

i can push my app , debug ans so on ..

I've try to make an android 10 / 11 and so on but impossible to start it ,,

Of course i have the sdk who is installed on my pc.

If i try to start the emulator with kernel logs i have this error:

qemu-system-x86_64.exe: error while loading state for instance 0x0 of device 'goldfish_pipe'

how to see what s happen with the emulator and find solution ?

Please open the Android SDKs and Tools, then click the Tools tag, click the Extras , update the Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator(HAXM installer) to the latest 7.6.5, if you have install the latest version, please reinstall it.

And check if you have some updates in the Android SDKs and Tools, please update it.

Hello leon,

i've try but after UNINSTALL and INSTALL again that doesn t work ..

after some hours to find WHY i've find how to have more log -> start emulator -avd avdname -verbose

here is it some part of log file:

it's same to be an error with vulkan .. i've try to add into the config file on the avd to disable it

C.\user.android\avd\avdname -> add this into the config.ini

Vulkan=off

GLDirectMem=on

but nothing work actually ...

Hello leon lu,

i've try but i don t have right for to execute this that's the problem ,,

Its a PC from ENTREPRISE, i need to create a ticket for to execute this as an administrator ...

Could you tell me, if i need to execute something else ?

Because each time, i need to ask (create ticket) to put me privilege for to execute some *.exe ...

Boring security ...

When you create the emulator in the android device manager, you need to the administrator permission.

By the way, does the security policy allow android studio to be installed? If yes, you can install Android Studio, then create emulator in the AS and AS do not need the administrator permission. You can use emulator in the MAUI as well.

today they authorize the haxm-7.8.0-setup.exe :)

Install and create emulator is OK NOW :)

Hello,

Please open C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\intel\Hardware_Accelerated_Execution_Manager\ path, find the intelhaxm-android.exe and run it. Then re-create a new emulator
