Unable to create a Vnet/subnet when naming it with hyphens

Hi,

When I'm trying to create Vnet or subnet

(eg; sandbox-infra000, sandbox-infra-test)

I have this error message:

"The name must begin with a letter or number, end with a letter, number or underscore, and may contain only letters, numbers, underscores, periods, or hyphens."

When I do the exact same thing without hyphens I don't have it :

(eg; sandboxinfra000, sandbox_test_infra000)

Naming conventions in my company requires that I use hyphens.

How can I solve this issue?

Regards

    Hi Camille, how are you?

Unfortunately, there is no way to assign names to vent using hyphens. The same happens with the Storage account as well.

Maybe, you could create a support ticket in Azure Portal to get the confirmation from Microsoft.

    Have a great day.
