Teams is opening Visio files twice

When in TEAMS, a user tries to open a Visio diagram using "open in app". It opens twice, one window - shows error boxes (one error actually states that it can't open a second window). The user clicks through the errors and finally the extra app window closes, and the user is left with the working one. How can we stop it from trying to open the Visio diagram twice?

    Our current Visio version is 2208 (Build 15601.20286) Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.33362 (32-bit). It was last updated on 12/19/22.

    The file is opened from Channel Files. (If opened directly from the SharePoint site there is no issue)

    It occurs on every Visio file

    Yes same account in Visio and Teams

    I tested with the same Teams version but still could not reproduce this issue.

    Please try updating Visio to the latest version and see if it can get rid of this issue.
