SQL 2012 management studio Setup error occurred

CY 1

OS : windows 7 pro 64 bit

installed : SQL server 2012 express edition WT(with tool)

I want to install the SQL 2012 management Studio, but as you can see that it has occurred error. Would you mind solve it?

No. It won't. It will works well.
You can download the latest one or if you don't want to test with the neweast version, please try SSMS v17.9, I have already tested on my side. It works fine. Please choose the version and download here: release-notes-ssms

Do not use the SQL 2012 management Studio. Instead install the latest version of SQL Server Management studio from this link:

The latest version supports SQL Server 2012 so there should not be any issue probably.

Anyway this is not related to the SQL Server. The SSMS is not part of the SQL Server and was never part of the SQL Server in 2012 as well, even in the old versions where the installation came together. It is simply a client application which connect the server just like any application that you develop

By the way, Microsoft have a different (not so new) application for managing SQL Server, which I prefer. It named Azure Data Studio. One of the advantages of this application is that you do not need to install it and it can even be execute directly from external storage like disk-on-key. You can always test this app knowing that you did not installed anything (make sure that you use the zip version and not the version that installed)
