Lost all my local documents while trying to backup them in OneDrive

Hi!

Early in the morning I copy my all local files to my OneDrive account later while reviewing my OneDrive configurations I clicked the option Backup & Sync Local Folders to OneDrive in Windows but I noticed that all the documents started to duplicate so I paused the process and used CTRL + Shift + Delete all the documents from my OneDrive folder thinking that all my local files were safe in my hard drive and it also deleted all my local documents. I tried to restore my OneDrive but did not work and I still have lost all my files. I have even tried different Recover Data from PC & Device providers but they do recover the documents but I am not able to open them due to a message about damaged files even though I tried to repair them.

Please help!!

    Hi @Cris Losen

    I undertand your feeling now.

If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, I suggest you try to restore OneDrive to a previous time.

Besides, if the step above does not work, you may require the help of professional data recovery software as shortcut (CTRL + Shift + Delete) seems to delete files permanently on your machine and OneDrive.
