SharePoint default ID column is skipping the numbers when files uploaded bulk in SharePoint library files not deleted checked the Audit log report as well at both user and Admin level

SharePoint default ID column is skipping the numbers when files uploaded bulk in SharePoint library, files not deleted checked at user and Admin level, cross checked Audit log report as well don't see any file deleted by user, is it design default? would like to know the reason.
