Hi,

I was running server 2012R2 with DHCP server. This server is not part of domain and it is just running CCTV system and provide IP address to cameras. I do not have DNS server running as there is no need for it. Everything was working fine until Recently I've migrated from 2012R2 to 2019 and I started to have problems. I'm received a lot of errors:

  • Error 20322: PTR record registration for IPv4 address [[192.168.5.17]] and FQDN DESKTOP-9570C37 failed with error 9852 (No DNS servers configured for local system.

-Error 20319: Forward record registration for IPv4 address [[192.168.5.17]] and FQDN DESKTOP-4HOCCR0 failed with error 9852 (No DNS servers configured for local system.

I'm not able to find solution to this problem as everything is pointing me to DNS, which I do not have on this sever. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you

Event ID 20322 is related to the DHCPv6 and DNS, did you configure the DHCPv6?
