Application pages in 16 hive is loading very slow in sharepoint 2016

Hello Team,

SharePoint site is working very fast without any issue except application pages inside layouts in 16 hive is loading very slow. these pages are configured as new, edit and view form of a SharePoint List.

List threshold set is 20000 and items in list is 3000

Please help us to fix this issue

    Hi @Athulya Pillai ,

    As per my knowledge it is normal that application pages are loaded slower than other pages if the amount of code of the Application page is large. Have a try to use another browser like Google Chrome, streamline your code or improve the performance of SharePoint and SQL servers, such as RAM.
